Thank you Melissa! And thank you for stopping by the blog! 🙂
I could definitely use these books when teaching my students about multicultural children’s books. I teach children’s literature to future elementary school teachers.
Hi Erika! Thanks for stopping by the blog! I will enter your name into this weeks giveaway! 🙂
I use books in my classroom and provide free voluntary reading time for my students. My classes are a combination of students in the regular classroom and students at other sites through Interactive Distance Learning. My classes have grown so much that it is difficult to send many books to all sites. I would love to win and be able to add to my Spanish library!
Hi Karen! Thanks so much for the comment and for stopping by the blog. I will enter you into this week’s drawing! Be sure to check out the other great online and print resources we feature here on the blog, too! 🙂
I would love to add this to my classroom library!
Thanks for the comment Alicia! I will add you to this week’s drawing. 🙂

Love the information this blog offers in new reading for children! Getting Bilingual books into our classrooms in Oklahoma is so important as our community has so many Spanish speaking children in our schools and would love to have our English speaking children start to learn and loving Spanish at a much younger age! The last sentence of your blog says it all for me, “these books offer great themes such as oral histories, kindness, families, faith, loyalty, and friendship, among many others”. Even if I don’t win these books I will be getting them for my nephew’s classroom and I’ll keep trying until I do!!
Thanks! Kelly
Hi Kelly!
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog! I have you entered in this weeks giveaway! 🙂 It’s great to hear that your nephew could use these books in his classroom. We hope you’ll pass along the blog information so he can make use of the other great resources made available here, too. 🙂
What a beautiful give away! I am an elementary Spanish teacher at two schools. While I love teaching Spanish, I ADORE sharing aspects of culture with the students I teach. Beautiful books like these do just that! Keep up the amazing work !
