We’re giving away 5 copies of Sammy & Juliana in Hollywood–the first featured novel for this year’s book group!! All you have to do is comment on any post on the blog by THIS FRIDAY July 20th. We’ll put all the names of those of you who have commented between July 1st and July 20th into a ‘hat’ and draw five names. If your name is chosen, we’ll email you ASAP about getting the book to you.
Good luck! Hope to see you August 6th at Bookworks!
I teach Spanish at a school in Arkansas. I came across your blog by happenstance. I was so thrilled to see all the good literature that you guys were going to read this year. I’ve decided to start a reading group for members of our Spanish classes! We are going to stick to your book suggestions for each month! I wish I could come to the meetings, but Arkansas is just a little too far away for me to travel. Lol. So please keep up with the posts! I’m following you every time you post! Put me in the running for a free copy of the book too! I’d love to give that away as a give-away at our first meeting when school starts!!! Thanks for all you do!
We are so happy that you found us and that our resources are helpful to you!! We will definitely add your name to the drawing for the free copy of the book. Just so you know, we do those drawings for each book each month–we’ll make an announcement when it starts, so be sure to keep commenting! What a great idea to give it away at the first meeting! I love the idea of starting the book group at your school. We’d love to hear your group’s thoughts on the books as you all read them, so pass on the blog info if they’d be interested in sharing their responses with us! Good luck with the beginning of the new school year!
I am very excited about reading the book and adding great literature to my Spanish classes! I teach in Albuquerque and am happy to have the opportunity to work with this group! I would definitely like my name added to the list of possible candidates that will receive a free copy! Thanks!
We will definitely put your name in the drawing! So excited to get to meet another Albuquerque teacher–can’t wait to hear what you think of the book!
